BOOK NEWS: The Boy Who Grew A Forest
When I first came across Jadav Payeng's story, I immediately connected to it. Jadav's love of trees and his belief in the need for ecological conservation are values that are very close to me. I talk more about this in my author's note and will save the rest for the book. But I just want to say how incredibly excited I am to be able to share Jadav's story with children everywhere.
